What is Automated Modular Construction?

The construction industry is dominated by numerous small and specialized sub-contractors who are typically not technologically advanced enough to embrace automation. The sector representing factory-built housing (the modular, prefab, panelized, precast, etc.) the exception. Since the products are built in factories, the principles of mass production and mass customization are the norm in manufacturing, going hand in hand, automation, integration, and optimization.

The factory floor is approximately 400,000 square feet, with an adjoining office space of 30,000 square feet where multiple extremely high-quality living units are produced each day.
